Wellllll hiiiii there! I'm Ashley - photographer, storyteller, professional over-thinker, and the person who will probably cry during your vows while simultaneously getting the shot.

I've lived in Memphis my entire life (except briefly when I went to college in Chicago), and if there's one thing this city has taught me, it's that every person has a story worth telling. That's what drew me to photography in the first place. Not the cameras. Not the gear. Not even the art.

People. The way your partner looks at you when you aren't paying attention. The way your mom squeezes your hand before you walk down the aisle. The way your friends absolutely lose their minds when your favorite song comes on during the reception.

Those are the moments that matter.

I earned a degree in photography because I wanted to learn how to create beautiful images. But over the years, I've learned that the most meaningful photographs aren't just beautiful - they're honest.

That's why I approach weddings the way I do.

I'm not interested in turning your wedding into a photoshoot.

I'm interested in documenting the day you've spent months, or years, dreaming about. The messy moments. The emotional moments. The loud, joyful, chaotic moments. The moments you planned for and the ones you never saw coming.

My goal is simple: I want your photos to feel like you.

When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll probably find me supporting local Memphis businesses, listening to live music, rewatching comfort shows I've already seen a hundred times, playing my cozy games on Nintendo, or hanging out with my cats, Lana and Lennon, who are convinced they own the place. ALSO - my hair might be a different color every time you see me. 🤭

I'm a firm believer that the best conversations happen over coffee, tacos, beer, or all three. I love a good story, a great playlist, and people who don't take themselves too seriously.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tate has always had a passion for photography and art. They got their first camera in eighth grade and haven’t put it down since! Tate has been with the ABP team for 7 years now, but they have been professionally shooting weddings since 2013. 

After studying photography in college, Tate and their partner moved to Denver where they continued their photography career. Tate always wanted to live in the mountains and loves the outdoors and nature! They were sad to leave the stunning scenery of the mountains, but Memphis was calling them back. 

In addition to wedding and landscape photography, Tate enjoys urban decay work. You can find them exploring abandoned houses or buildings when they’re not shooting weddings! They almost always bring their partner and two rescue pups along for every adventure. For self care time, Tate enjoys cross-stitching or embroidery, as well as cooking delicious meals that warm your soul.
